Meet the Athletes



AJ Lembitz
At 16, AJ Lembitz is competing in the Pro Enduro field after nearly a decade of racing. He started racing at 10, earned a junior overall championship, and broke through at the 2026 BME Granby, winning Semi-Pro with the fastest overall time of the weekend. AJ is focused on racing at the highest level, with goals of competing in Enduro World Cups and World Championships. After missing the 2024 season with a broken collarbone, he returned stronger and more resilient. Off the bike, AJ works as a mechanic at The Fix Bike Shop and volunteers on local trail projects.


Carson Tennery
Carson Tennery is a 17-year-old enduro racer and competitive freeride skier from Boulder, Colorado. He spends much of his time in the mountains skiing, biking, hiking, and climbing. Carson is drawn to the creative and technical aspects of both enduro and freeride skiing. For him, riding is about more than getting from the top to the bottom. He is constantly searching for new and unconventional lines, whether finding gaps, experimenting through technical terrain, or pushing the boundaries of what is possible. As a BGR athlete, Carson hopes to continue developing his skills, creativity, and confidence while challenging himself to ride with his own style.



Kevin Kelly
Kevin is a 17-year-old enduro athlete based in Boulder, Colorado. He currently races in the U18 field and consistently finishes in the top 10 while pushing for podium results at nearly every race. His measurable progression each season reflects his dedication to training, racing, and continual improvement. Next year, Kevin will move into Semi-Pro and Pro competition, taking on deeper and more competitive fields. He is excited to challenge himself while continuing to build the fitness, skills, and race experience needed to compete at a higher level. As a BGR athlete, Kevin is focused on embracing new challenges, continuing his progression, and seeing how far he can take his racing.



Lukas Gille
Lukas Gille has been riding for over a decade and racing for three years. After a team change midway through his racing journey, his progression accelerated, allowing him to improve at a faster pace. He is currently focused on building consistency and speed through better line choice, endurance, and mental preparation. Lukas is driven by the belief that every ride is an opportunity to improve. Mountain biking has become a major part of his life, providing lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences. The sport has helped him become more patient, methodical, kind, and grounded. For Lukas, mountain biking’s culture stands out for its individuality, self-expression, and authenticity.



Owen Francis
Owen Francis is a 17-year-old mountain bike athlete who has been passionate about riding since he was young. For Owen, biking is about more than riding—it is about being part of a supportive community that inspires him to grow and become stronger, both mentally and physically. He loves spending time outdoors and finding joy in every ride, from the terrain to the people he shares it with. Mountain biking has given Owen lasting friendships and a strong sense of community while encouraging him to challenge himself and embrace opportunities to grow. As a BGR athlete, he looks forward to developing as a rider while continuing to grow as both an athlete and person.



Anna Johnson
Anna is a 16-year-old enduro athlete who has been riding for eight years and racing for four. She loves the challenge of enduro and the opportunity to continually develop her skills and confidence. After an injury, Anna is focused on rebuilding her training and returning to riding with patience and purpose. Her goals are to progress safely, improve her skills, and continue having fun on her bike. As a BGR athlete, Anna is excited to challenge herself, build confidence, and continue growing as both a rider and a person.



Ellie Fineberg
Ellie is 14 years old and has been racing bikes for three years across cyclocross, cross-country, and enduro. Those years have helped her build technical skills, endurance, and confidence on the bike. Her biggest challenge, however, has been learning to manage the anxiety she carries about herself, other people, and racing. Through that process, Ellie has learned that athletic development extends beyond physical performance. She is working to build confidence, stay present, and develop the mental tools to challenge herself without being defined by fear or expectations. As a BGR athlete, Ellie hopes to continue building resilience, finding joy, and growing both as an athlete and person.


Levi Greenberg
Levi has been riding bikes for as long as he can remember. He grew up racing cyclocross before discovering mountain biking, which quickly became a major part of his life. While he enjoys racing a few times each summer, he is most passionate about riding laps with friends and enjoying the good vibes. Levi loves everything from technical trails to big jumps, preferably with minimal climbing, and spends time at the dirt jumps building his skills. For Levi, biking is about more than competition or fitness—it is a way to make friends, connect with others, and be part of a community. As a BGR athlete, he hopes to keep sharing that passion.



Mathis Darmon
Mathis Darmon is a 16-year-old enduro athlete who has been riding for 10 years. He is focused on becoming more comfortable at higher speeds and continuing to find harder, faster lines as he develops. Mathis rides because he loves the thrill of the sport and the opportunity to showcase the work and training he has put in. To him, mountain biking represents sportsmanship, dedication, and having fun while pushing himself. The sport has helped him build friendships and become more outgoing through the support of coaches and teammates. As a BGR athlete, Mathis hopes to represent a team that values racing and improvement while keeping the fun that makes riding special.



Rowan Cattau
Rowan Cattau has been riding bikes for as long as he can remember. He competes in enduro, cyclocross, and cross-country, with enduro as his primary passion. His current focus is preparing for Trans BC, a demanding multi-stage race that will test his physical and mental endurance. For Rowan, biking is as much about community as competition. Many of his closest friendships have come through bike teams, where he enjoys training, working on bikes, and traveling for races. Coaches have also helped him grow as a rider and teammate. Rowan’s goals are to become consistent and durable, stay healthy, support his teammates, and represent BGR positively. Outside cycling, he enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and time outdoors with family.



Caleb Ambrosino
Caleb Ambrosino has been riding for 12 years and racing enduro for two. After completing his first full enduro season in 2025 and finishing third in his category, he entered 2026 focused on building endurance and consistency. That preparation has brought growing confidence at larger events, including the North American Enduro Cup. Caleb rides multiple disciplines, using XC for endurance and dirt jumps to develop bike control and air awareness. For him, mountain biking is about challenge, creativity, freedom, and community. He also advocates for local trail access and volunteers on trail projects. His long-term goal is racing French Cup or UCI World Cup events.


Graham Cline
Graham Cline has been riding bikes for more than 11 years and began focusing more seriously on the sport when he started high school. Over the years, biking has become much more than a sport—it has become a way to challenge himself, spend time outdoors, and pursue something he genuinely loves. For Graham, riding provides a place to step away from everyday pressures and simply enjoy the moment. Whether pushing himself to improve or riding just for fun, bikes give him freedom and connection to the outdoors. As a BGR athlete, Graham hopes to continue developing as a rider while sharing the positive experiences and community that make biking meaningful.



Liam Afflerbaugh
Liam Afflerbaugh is an XC mountain bike athlete who has been riding for roughly six years. Driven by a love of competition and the freedom that riding provides, biking has become a major part of his life. Liam is focused on building long-range endurance in preparation for future stage races and longer endurance events. He enjoys pushing his physical limits and continually becoming a stronger athlete. Cycling has also shaped Liam beyond racing, helping him develop resilience, discipline, and drive while building a strong community around the sport. When he is not riding, Liam enjoys wildlife photography and cooking.



Milo Barge
Milo Barge is a 15-year-old enduro racer from Boulder, Colorado, with a passion for riding and a drive to become a well-rounded athlete. He enjoys pushing himself inside the tape while building his skills, confidence, and race experience. Milo believes becoming a better rider and person comes through consistency, hard work, and a mindset that helps those around him reach their goals. He values the support of his BGR teammates and coaches, whether after a long race day or riding laps together. Milo also believes in supporting others, from encouraging riders on the trail to cheering for teammates. He hopes to grow as an athlete, teammate, and person.
