About Abigael

Abigael Carron is a passionate leader, mentor, and lifelong cyclist based in Boulder, Colorado. She is dedicated to building inclusive communities, developing confident athletes, and creating meaningful experiences that empower people both on and off the bike.

Cycling has been a lifelong passion and the foundation of much of Abigael's leadership journey. She has competed at the national level in cross-country mountain biking and has experience across road, cyclocross, track, and gravity disciplines. As a coach and mentor, she is passionate about helping young athletes develop strong technical skills, confidence, resilience, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of riding. 

Abigael has experience founding and managing multiple student clubs and collegiate club teams while in college. Additionally, Abigael has over two years of experience coaching a youth development bike team in both gravity and endurance disciplines.

Outside of BGR Abigael also works as a Trauma Technician at Boulder Community Hospital. She is a certified Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and has extensive experience in emergency medicine and risk management. 

Outside of work, Abigael can usually be found exploring the mountains. She enjoys trail running, mountain biking, backcountry and alpine skiing, whitewater kayaking, and birding. Her passion for the outdoors, lifelong learning, and building strong communities continues to shape both her leadership and her commitment to helping others discover confidence, resilience, and joy through adventure.
